LIHCC’s Annual Christmas Party celebrated at The Cuban Restaurant in Garden City. A night of networking, great food and authentic Hispanic music gathered many for a greater cause. All toys raised were donated to three non for profit organizations: Hempstead Hispanic Civic Association, Comite Civico Argentino, and Mount Sinai Pentecostal Church.
Special Thanks to TD Bank for sponsoring our annual toy drive making this night attainable and helping many children along the way.

Our Annual Latina Hat Luncheon is dedicated to honor prominent Latina/Minority businesswomen who stand out as leaders of excellence with civic and humanitarian accomplishments. Each honoree follows their passion to work in ways that enhance traditions of integrity, creativity, and respect. We have celebrated this tradition for 15 years nominating women who have made a positive impact on the quality of life and economy for us here on Long Island and surrounding areas.

Rivkin Radler Immigration Law Workshop

Rivkin Radler, LLP presented a workshop to LIHCC members on the new Immigration Laws enacted in 2019. This workshop educated our members on the right paths to citizenship and local laws that effect them. The LIHCC along with Rivkin Radler opened up a detailed conversation on immigration in the United States all while providing a great networking experience.

The corporate committee of the Nassau County Museum of Arts hosted a networking event with their members and LIHCC members. The museum featured the opening of the exhibit China Then and Now. Wine tasting, hours devours and a diverse networking forum were offered at this event.

Lord & Taylor and the LIHCC partnered up to host this Fashion Show as a Kick-Off event for the LIHCC’s upcoming 27th Annual Gala Awards. LIHCC members modeled Lord & Taylor’s elegant gowns, fine jewelry and the latest in men’s wear. Guests tasted wine, admired artwork and listened to a live guitarist as they networked and enjoyed the show.

At our end of the year Holiday networking party, the LIHCC does a toy drive where each attendee brings an unwrapped toy. The Chamber chooses a different charity each year to give back the toys to under privileged children on Long Island.
