ABOUT US

Home / About Us
The Long Island Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (LIHCC) is a non-profit organization that was established in 1988 to serve the needs of the Long Island minority owned small business community. LIHCC serves both Nassau and Suffolk County, making it the only bi-county Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Long Island.
One of the core objectives of the LIHCC is to help its members thrive through an array of networking events and workshops. These events provide opportunities for members to connect with other business owners, establish contacts, and acquire the necessary professional business and personal finance skills to optimize their operations and compete effectively with other Long Island businesses.
Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the LIHCC has been at the forefront of providing valuable information to its members and the business community at large. The organization has partnered with local, state, and federal agencies to bring important, reliable information regarding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Small Business Administration grants and loans, and other relief options to help businesses recover.
In addition to networking events and workshops, the LIHCC provides opportunities for members to be honored based on their work for the community and their professional achievements. The most attended events include the Latina Hat Luncheon and the Annual Gala Awards. The organization also conducts an Annual Toy Drive, which allows it to provide toys to the children of the underserved community during the holiday season.

The LIHCC is a proud member of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. To learn more about the organization and how to become a member, interested individuals can email the organization at admin@lihcc.org or call (516) 333-0105.
